We are thrilled to announce the launch of the Junior Premier League, a vibrant new competition designed for aspiring junior athletes aged 7 to 15! This league aims to provide young athletes with a platform to showcase their talents, develop their skills, and compete at a high level.

How it works

Attention Athletes: Upcoming Open Workouts Announcement

From January 24th to February 14th, 2025, we are excited to announce a series of four open workouts designed to challenge and inspire athletes across all divisions. Each workout will be released weekly, allowing athletes one full week to complete the assigned workout at their chosen affiliate, gym, or training facility.

Workout Details:

  • Schedule: Four open workouts will be released every week for four weeks, starting January 24th and concluding on February 14th.
  • Completion Window: Athletes will have until the end of each week to complete the workout.
  • Judging Requirements: To ensure fair competition, each workout must be judged and verified by a qualified individual, including a CrossFit Coach, Certified CrossFit Judge, or a Certificate Level III or IV Trainer. Detailed movement standards will be provided to guide athletes in performing the workouts correctly.

Participation:

  • Athletes are encouraged to complete each workout as many times as they wish during the designated week to achieve their best possible score.
  • After submitting a verified score, participants can track their progress on the official leaderboard, which will display results alongside fellow athletes in their division, both regionally and nationally.

Junior Premier League Age Categories:

For the Junior Premier League, athletes will be classified into the following age categories:

  • 7-9 years
  • 10-12 years
  • 13-15 years

Divisions for Athlete Registration

When registering for the event, athletes must select one of the following divisions based on their age:

  • Cadet Division (Ages 7-9): This division is designed for our youngest athletes, providing a supportive environment to develop their skills and confidence.
  • Lieutenant Division (Ages 10-12): Athletes in this division will engage in more advanced training and competition, focusing on teamwork and individual improvement.
  • Captain Division (Ages 13-15): This division caters to our older athletes, emphasizing leadership, strategy, and competitive excellence as they prepare for higher levels of competition.

Age Eligibility Guidelines

To ensure that all participants are placed in the appropriate age categories, please review the following eligibility criteria:

  • 7-9 Age Category: If you turn 7 years old on or before October 31, 2025, you are eligible to register for the 7-9 Age Category.
  • 10-12 Age Category: If you turn 10 years old on or before October 31, 2025, you should register for the 10-12 Age Category.
  • 13-15 Age Category: If you turn 13 years old on or before October 31, 2025, you should register for the 13-15 Age Category.
